Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute to Expand with New HQ in Orlando

The Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute will expand its footprint in Orlando’s Lake Nona community with the construction of a new global headquarters. The $18 million state-of-the-art campus will house the Human Performance Institute's multidisciplinary training center and serve as the global hub for continuing research and development into science-based approaches to improve human energy capacity for performance, resilience and leadership. The company will create 25 new, high-wage jobs. Construction on the facility will be completed by the end of 2018.

World Property Exchange Group Chooses Orlando for Global HQ

World Property Exchange Group, Inc. (WPE) will locate its global headquarters in Orlando in 2018 creating a projected 100 new, high-wage jobs in the next three years in the region. WPE is an emerging real estate fintech company with offices in New York City, Miami and Irvine, Ca.  The company plans to locate, temporarily, at 111 North Orange Avenue, Suite 800 before selecting a permanent space.

Holiday Retirement Chooses Orlando for its Headquarters

The Orlando Economic Partnership (the Partnership) announced that Holiday Retirement, the largest independent senior living provider in the U.S., relocated its corporate headquarters from Lake Oswego, Oregon to the Orlando region. The company is creating 157 new, high wage jobs in the areas of marketing, legal, IT, administration, human resources, finance and operations. The new positions pay an average of 233% percent of Orange County’s annual average wage.

KPMG plans to build $430 million global training facility in Orlando

KPMG LLC announced its plans to build a 55-acre, 800,000-square-foot  learning, development, and innovation facility in Lake Nona located in the City of Orlando. KPMG expects to create 80 high wage jobs in Orlando and make a $430 million capital investment. Construction on the new, state-of-the-art facility is scheduled to begin in spring 2017 and be completed in late 2019. This is now the largest capital investment project the Orlando EDC has established in the last 10 years in the community.

This brand-new facility represents KPMG’s progressive vision to create an energetic forum for learning for its employees, further enhancing its world-class training capabilities. The premier meeting space will include an Innovation Center, a museum, as well as 800 guest rooms, fitness and outdoor recreational facilities, and multiple food and beverage venues.

USTA Officially Opens New National Campus in Orlando

The USTA officially opened its new National Campus in Lake Nona after hosting a community open house and celebration that included internationally known tennis players Chris Evert, James Blake and Jim Courie as well as Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Orange County Commissioner Jennifer Thompson, and USTA President Katrina Adams.

The 64-acre National Campus is a state-of-the-art, technologically advanced facility for players of every level and was designed with the goal of ensuring the sports continued growth far into the 21st century.
